Programming a Single Group IR Remote

A single group IR works with the shade right out of the box! However, the shade's upper and lower limits, or stopping points, were pre-programmed based on your window dimensions. So you'll probably want to fine-tune them. Here's how to do that. Note: Please leave the shade down for 24 hours to allow the fabric to relax before adjusting the limits.

To set the shade's lower limit, tap the shade button on the shade you want to set the limit on. The shade button will turn on to solid green. Then hold the "open" and "raise" buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds, until the shade button blinks and remains lit. Use the remote's "raise" and "lower" buttons to adjust the shade position to the lower limit you prefer. Hold the "close" button for about 5 seconds, until the shade button blinks and turns off. You've now set the shade's lower limit.

To set the shade's upper limit, tap the shade button on the shade you want to set the limit on. The shade button will turn on to solid green. Hold the "open" and "raise" buttons on the remote for about 5 seconds, until the shade button blinks and remains lit. Then use the remote's "raise" and "lower" buttons to adjust the shade position to the upper limit you prefer. Hold the "open" button for about 5 seconds, until the shade button blinks and turns off. You've now set the shade's upper limit.

You might also want to set a favorite shade level, or preset, for one shade assigned to the remote, or multiple shades assigned to the remote at the same level. To set a favorite level, use the remote's "raise" and "lower" buttons to adjust the shade position to the level you prefer. Then hold the "favorite" button for about 5 seconds. All the shade buttons will blink, indicating you've set a favorite level.

You can also set a favorite shade level, or preset, for multiple shades assigned to the remote at different levels. Use the remote's "raise" and "lower" buttons again to adjust the first shade's position to the level you prefer. Please note all shades will move together. Don't worry, that's ok. Disconnect the power to this shade... and repeat for the next shade. Once your shades are at the level you prefer, restore power to the REMAINING Client: shades, then hold the "favorite" button for about 5 seconds. All the shade buttons will blink, indicating you've set a favorite level.
